TJ has a security lovey, Froggy. Froggy goes with TJ wherever he goes. We realized the other day that with all the comfort comes a price. My husband picked up TJ from daycare and didn't realize that he brought Froggy with him (he doesn't always bring him to school) and left him in his cubby. Well, that night TJ didn't sleep very well and he woke up several times in the night crying for Froggy.
This isn't the only time we have had Froggy issues. A few months ago TJ brought Froggy into Target for one of our shopping trips and he must have dropped him in the store. We never found him. Luckily his grandma had one on standby and he was replaced.
So, my question is, is it okay that he is so dependent on a stuffed animal? I fear the day when he will have to give him up. I mean he can't be walking into kindergarten with an old frog blanket in his hands, right?
